A 17-year-old from Durley has been arrested after an alleged knife incident on Fair Oak Road involving two known individuals.

Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy from Durley following an alleged knife incident on Fair Oak Road. Officers from response and neighbourhood policing teams were called to reports of a fight on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Hampshire Police, the incident involved two people who were known to each other. An 18-year-old man from Eastleigh sustained a cut to his hand along with head injuries during the altercation. Paramedics treated him at the scene, and fortunately, hospital treatment was not required.
Investigation underway
Following the incident, officers conducted a thorough search of the area and recovered a knife believed to have been used in the incident. The 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place, and possession of cannabis. He remains in custody pending further enquiries.
