Unwrapped Festival Returns to Eastleigh and Hedge End This Weekend
The Unwrapped festival is back across three locations, featuring live performances, circus acts, and creative workshops celebrating The Point's 30 years.
A Celebration of Community and Creativity
Since its launch in 2013, Unwrapped has established itself as a beloved fixture in the local events calendar, bringing outdoor arts, live performances, music, dance, theatre, and creative activities directly into communities. This year's festival holds special significance as it coincides with The Point's 30th anniversary—three decades of championing arts, culture, and creativity across the Borough.
The Point has grown into a valued cultural hub for residents, supporting artists, inspiring young people, and making high-quality arts experiences accessible to all through events, workshops, performances, and festivals like Unwrapped.
What to Expect
This year's Unwrapped programme transforms parks and open spaces into vibrant festival destinations brimming with colour, creativity, and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy spectacular live performances, circus acts, family walkabouts, sustainable art workshops, music, and interactive activities designed to bring people together and encourage participation in the arts.
One headline performance at the main Eastleigh event will feature Up in the Sky by Austin Dance Theatre—a breathtaking aerial dance production created especially for Eastleigh. The bespoke performance combines storytelling, movement, and visual spectacle, supported by a local community cast, promising an unforgettable experience for audiences.
